I learned how to type faster. And I also leared when you have your fingers on the main keys you learn how to look up at the computers while you type. But also I don't always have to look down.
it is not all that but it does help me type faster. This class is so boring but it helps your typing skills to get better. Typing is just not my thing ok.Epecially when you have to keep your hands on the home row keys.
this is a boring class and i wish that i caould be in gym or art but i helps me type faster, but i didnt really need help typing i have already taken a calss before and i know how to do it typing is so easy. i can type really fast but the only problem is i look down a lot not in class but when i type at long periond at a time. well thats how touch typing has helped me
Throughout my three years of being at Lewis Frasier Middle School, I have gotten Keyboarding three times. Although this last time of being here, I feel like I'm already an expert at typing, but now, thinking, I realise i'm not as advanced as I really am. Sure my GWAM is around 70+, but that's not the point. I need to work on my accuracy, (Which is usually 100% anyway), and I need to memorize ALL of the keys. (not that I don't know them all now, just I couldn't put them all down in order). My posture is eloquet, and I'm pretty confident in myself. Thank-You for helping me learn 'Touch Typing' from day one. Now, I know I can handle anything if I just keep my mind to it.
i learned that you have to sit up straight and keep your feet flat on the floor and keep your keyboard centered and if you follow this you will type better and that you keep your hands on your homerow key
I learned that it is easier to type when you're sitting up strait, you are aligned with your keyboard, and your feet are flat on the ground. I also learned to type faster. And it easier to type with your fingers on the home row keys. I also learned which fingers go with which keys which makes it faster and easier to type.
i have learned that the home row keys are asdf jkl;. I also learned that keyboarding is hard work and it not just a game. Thank you ms. Baker for teaching me that
I have learn that there are four home round keys. They are FDSA and JKL; they are your home round keys. I learn that the home round keys can reach the other keys on the keyboard. I also learn how reach to the round numbers. I learn how shift the letters. I learn how to use the number keypad and learn how to use the caps lock. I learned how to reach the . and how to reach the question mark. I learn a lot of touch typing.
I have learned the home row keys ASDF and JKL;. I learned where mostly all of the keys are at. I learned the home row keys on the number key pad and they are 4560 and enter.
I learned to use my home row keys without looking but I may still need a bit more help on the keys named j, k, l, and ;. I just hope that I get better and better. Also my typing starts to increase a little.
i learned a lot of things that i didnt know.like how you should sit,how your area should be and to memorize the keys.i know alot about typing know.and now i dont have to look at the keys as much
My typing has increased much better then it has use to be. I use to have to look at the keyboard when I had to type but now I can look away and type. So now when i get home all I do is type. Im so glad that my accuracy has gotten faster and faster as the days go by.
If I never went to this class, I dont think i would be typing as fast as I am now! I still have a little trouble with some keys, but overall, I luv to type!!!

I learned your supposed to type fingers curved sitting up straight on your homerow keys (asdf jkl;) its not that easy to learn though .
I still like typing my old way because i use all my fingers and im really fast its not like i only use one finger i know where all the keys are to... but until this class is over i wont know which way is a faster way of typing for me ...
I learn how to type faster. But i still like typeing the old way beuse it is easy.I learn how to sit certain.I no what finger to use.I learn some keys to use now.I dont have to look at the keys.
I learned a more proper way to sit when typing at a desktop. Also I learned a more "structured" way to type, and how to look at the keyboard less. Although I don't really find it very comfortable, I do type a bit faster now. Another thing I learned about was the scratch program, which was quite interesting, so I may have to look a getting it or something similar.
what i learn your supposed keep your fingers on the home row keys even though its boring it the best thing you can ever do because it includes a computer . i hate sitting up strait though it very tring though but i love computer even more so i try as hard as i can to keep up . i still type my way tough because its faster and its a habit but i got to get use to type the right way
I learned many things about touch typing. Just like other people I still like my way of typing faster. Like boooyalol touch typing is so slow. I have learned that touch typing is very fast wants you get use to it.
I learned it helps me type faster & I dont lose my place as much as I did before. But, I still like the way I'm used 2! I still use all my fingers 2 type @ home I just dont leave them on the home row keys!
I learned how to type the keys. I can type faster then before. I learned the way i have to sit. Also i learned how to type my keys. I learned what poster u have to be in caude it helps your speed in typing.

What i learned is that when touch typing you have to keep your hands on your homerow keys. Now with touch typing i see that i can type without looking down at the keyboard. I am also learning new keys.
I have learned to type faster by using homerow keys. Then its faster for me to move my hands all pver the place ,but learning touch type is a little faster for me. Over time maybe ill be able to type faster while using mi homerow key.

I have learned that the F and J has a little finger dashv so that you can feel the homerow keys.Feet should be flat on the floor and fingers arched so your able to reach all the keys.Don't slouch and sit up straight. Typing can be easy if you follow directions.
I have leanrned a lot about touch typing. Touch typing helps you increase your speed. Now i dont have to look at my book then look back at the keyboard. Keeping my fingers on the homerow keys are hard. But if I keep practicing I would'nt have to worry about the homerows.
Jakaria Fleming Jan. 20th, 2010 5th period Mrs.Baker
When touch-typing you don't have to look at your keyboard 24/7 and you can type more faster when you memorize your keys. It takes a whie to get the hang of it but when you finally master it things will get better.
I learned that you should always keep on all of your front row keys. Like when i mess up i look and put my hands on homerow keys and i wont mess up again. So we go by all our steps a day. Sometimes we do O,L I,K and lots of other keys. The good thing is i get better and better at typing because of my good teacher Mrs. Baker and her good help she give me.
I have learned my Home-Keys, but thats not the only thing I learned. I can use my Home-Keys without looking. Useing 'Touch Typing', I can key words faster than before and I no-longer need to look down at the key board to type as I did once before. I didn't just learn my Home-Keys, but I also learned all the keys on the key board. Knowing where they all are, I can type without looking for all the keys I needed to type before with. 'Touch Typing' has really help me type better.
i learnd touch typing is a great way to lean how to type faster.and you'll also learn were your keyz are. Also its a good thing to know how to type fast because its a better chance of you getting a job.....=]
I have learned that typing is a lot easier if you know all your keys. Not only do I now type faster and more accurately, but I also know where all of my keys are without looking. And this will come in handy later in life, no matter what job I get; it also helps when I'm talking over the internet.
i have learned that typing is easy if you know where everything is and i know where all my keys are and now i can type faster now. it did not take me 30 seconds to type this.
I have learned how to type faster. I've learned my keys and how to type. I've learned alot from touch typing. I learned my home row keys and to type on any keyboard.
The things that I have learned about touch typing is that you need to be familiar to the keys in order to increase your typing speed. you will also have to be confident and know the keys you are keying so you dont look down at the keys.
I've learned how to type better and quicker and more efficently. I've also learned a bit about how to type without looking Tatyanna Campbell Period five 9-28-10
Isaiah Hawthorne 9/29/10 1st period I've learned so much from touch typing. Mrs Baker my first period teacher helped me to be able to type without even looking at the keys. I thank her personally for getting me ready for highschool reports
What I have learnd from, touch typing is that it takes practice to be perfect. Now I am able to type without looking at the keybord. And i learnd my home row keys wcich made it easier to type. Its easy once you get the hang of it. :)/Ilearnd which finger goes down/or up for which key.And how to type without taking a long time i actually move faster now so I am actually happy that I had to take this class...:)
i'll leaned a lot i've leaned it's easier to type when your hands are on the home rom key u dont have to look down al the time to see was letter to key and u dont have to look down and search for the key all u have to do is know your home row keys and learn if the j finger goes with the y key and stuff like that and it very easy if u try and work at it it's fun to . Once you and the person beside you get the hang of it yall can try to race does a typing game or somthing you should try it from what i have gone throgh you will have lots of fun :)
I am smart and a diligent student. touch typing for me at the begining it was hard but now it is easy like pie. touch typing is important in college when you have to do reports and it is important in high school.
what ive learned about touch typing is u need good posture to be able to do it correctly and that it teaches u how to type without looking at the keys.

I have learned that typing is a lot easier if you know all your keys. Not only do I now type faster and more accurately, but I also know where all of my keys are without looking. And this will come in handy later in life, no matter what job I get; it also helps when I'm talking over the internet.

ReplyDeleteThe things that I have learned about touch typing is that you need to be familiar to the keys in order to increase your typing speed. you will also have to be confident and know the keys you are keying so you dont look down at the keys.
